Anxious?

It is easy to experience a bit of anxiety regarding November 8, 2016. Blood pressure has a tendency to rise for those who watched the recent debates between two of the candidates for President of the United States. The “media” has their trite uselessness on display with the “horror” that is candidate Trump saying he is not sure what he will do about the outcome of the election if he loses. Maybe he will follow the leadership of Al Gore in Florida with a previous election. Or maybe he will arm all his employees and take over Washington, D. C. in a military style coup. I know some “media” types are really, really nervous.

I admit I am anxious. Anxious for it to be over so I can begin to watch the unfolding of what this World’s real leader will do. Will He remain patient with this once great Country which He has blessed beyond measure, or will He move forward in righteous judgment. allowing the demise of the most promising of all adventures in Government by mankind?

I understand, and I pray you do as well, that He is Sovereign. It is by His “hand” that this Nation will stand or fall. It is by His will that this society that has worked so hard at abandoning Truth will continue to decline toward a collective reprobate mind, or find repentance, brought about by the power of His Spirit, and begin a journey of obedience in the Truth of His Word.

I have absolute confidence the outcome will be no surprise to Jehovah God. Either way the results will surprise some,  but not the Creator, Sustainer, Grace-giver, Llover of all mankind, Savior, and Friend.

He speaks and the Earth trembles. He rides upon the wind. His majesty and glory will not be diminished, nor can His will be thwarted.

Be anxious for nothing. Sleep well, His beloved, for He rules, and reigns forever.
