Beauty

What is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen? Your spouse, your child, an incredible sunrise or sunset, the Grand Canyon, the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite National Park?

True beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 1 Chronicles 16:29 “Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of His name; bring an offering and come before Him. Worship the Lord in the splendor (beauty) of His holiness; . . . .

It is not only God who has the beauty of  holiness, but also we who are supposedly moving toward that goal. Do we see the beauty of holiness? Or do we see holiness as either a harsh requirement, or a duty, or an unobtainable characteristic?

Many Churches, and multitudes of people, need a mental and spiritual transformation regarding the absolute beauty of holiness. Lloving, sharing, ministering, witnessing, caring and giving — all bring glory to the Lord and create a beautiful holiness.

Worshipping in Spirit and Truth creates a holiness that infiltrates our collective lives and brings a beauty to the World that cannot be overcome by the ugliness and filthiness of today’s society.

Worship Him with awesome recognition of His holiness and your ability to be holy even as He is holy. “For it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.” (1 Peter 4:16)
