Thought For The Day

Down Deep

The Purple Finger (think Iraq c. 2005) is on my mind today, Who voted, and what did they vote for? Most people (as always) didn’t vote. Some voted more than once. The question that remains is more complex (or simple) than how the election ended (if indeed it has ended). Rather, the more important concern might be – for what exactly did we vote? In my mind the truth is that most people voted not for something they wanted, needed, and were willing to fight for, but against something ( or someone) they didn’t “like.” Many people forgot that an election, just like every action in life, has consequences. I don’t believe “something good” was available in this election just passed.

Our Nation is awash in unGodly behavior, filled with anger on every side, and willing to accommodate – in the hopes of finding some magical contentment – every idea of every heart providing those ideas are in direct violation of God’s will for the people He designed and created to be His chosen Bride. The misconnects occurs because all mankind has been born with a heart of evil, bitterness, and hatred for the things of God (depravity). That problem is infinitely solvable, but the solution is overlooked, or ignored, or refused more often than not.

Out of that depravity millions of humans are murdered every year, with the most innocent topping the list. Homosexuality, racist mindsets, uncontrolled anger, family disintegration, and rebellion regarding lawful behavior, top the charts, and from that rises terroristic groups  like  ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, Anarchists, and others.

Political party politics supports many of these groups and individuals, and voting for that Party enhances their opportunity to prosper.

When America fails to choose Godly, honest, caring leadership, our Nation falters. When our Nation fails to honor God, Truth. morality, and the sanctity of life, and instead embraces godlessness with the fervor currently stirring in our Nation’s Capitol, we are on the precipice of failure and destruction.

Don’t pray for God to save America unless you are one through whom He would do so.
