Thought For The Day

Fire

Spending a lot of time with “brush burning” this past week I got so busy I did zero writing.

But watching the fires burn, I was reminded of James 3:6.  Look it up and read it twice. . .or more.

Here are a few phrases that can be used quite positively, but, unfortunately, are almost always used in very negative conflagrations:

“I hate to say this, but. . .”

“If I tell you about this, your must promise to tell no one else. . .”

“I  could not believe it when I heard. . .”

“I know you will care as much as I do about. . .”

“I’m sure you haven’t heard. . .”

“I am hearing something you need to pray about. . .”

“Have you heard that. . .”

My momma used to say, “If  you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” She was a wise woman.
