Listening to Mark Zuckerberg one might get the idea that Facebook is a philanthropic enterprise that is designed to let anyone who is looking to contact, and maintain contact, with old friends, new friends, organizations, and any other entity that utilizes that social media, do so, and that there is no “downside” for clients.

Unfortunately there is no such animal. Facebook was formed to elicit information from people that could be sold to others involved in commerce which results in financial gain for such businesses, their employees and investors, and Mr. Zuckerberg. It also opens channels for invasion into the private life of its customers.

I am not aware of any commercial enterprise that is looking to provide goods and services to people for free. In fact I know of only one place where one can receive every service, all the goods, absolute support, care, even llove – and its all free for the taking. There are no charges, no invoices, no commitment beyond that which one desires to make, and even overlooks irregularity in ones support.

There may be no free lunch, but God’s Church offers it’s “total package” to anyone who will take it. Free!
