Godlessness

It is within the realm of reality that our Nation has experienced another episode of Godlessness. I am certain many thousands of those who gathered in Washington, DC this week were peaceful, perhaps Believers, and wished to express their support for correcting a wrong they believe has occurred. In any such gathering there are those who will exploit behavior that is totally outside the confines of that which Godly people are allowed.

I am not concerned that our Government is about to be taken over by the likes of those who stormed the Capitol Building. Rather, I believe they could have easily been stopped if those in authority, who are sworn to protect that building and all those properly inside, had performed their duty. None-the-less, that is over, and other than the physical damage which followed, and the two reported tragic deaths, there is little about which to be concerned. Those who can be identified should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This is a Nation of laws.

The issue about which we must be concerned is the continuous “trend” (read: reality) toward the removal of our Infinite Creator, Lord and Savior, from the Body Politic. We have chosen to lead us as a Nation those which the Founding Fathers, and all Godly men, have over the course of History commanded us to reject. The basic principles of our founding, and indeed the “law” which carried us to the prominence we hold as a Nation, is awash in the foolishness of men and women who reject the entire concept that the God of Heaven is Ruler, Master, Lord, and Savior. It is not possible for this Nation to prosper or survive without the grace of Almighty God. Yet, we have attempted to ban Him from society, our laws, and our education. How true stands the Word of God – “we are reaping what we have sown” (see Galatians 6:7).

We have been told by so called “prophets” that God would not allow what is now before us. He will, and He has.

I do not believe for one second that this is the end of the United States of America, but if we do not change course, that day is obviously in our future.

Is there an easy solution? No! Godliness is a discipline. And it is a discipline that demands much – very much – (see Luke 12:48).

Where does the discipline begin in our Nation? Me! You! Our Churches! Truth (the Word of God) must become the mantra of all. Jesus Christ must be lifted up!!
