Job Performance

Rasmussen Reports says that when Ronald Reagan died, “67% of voters nationwide rated his Presidential performance as good or excellent.”

I was thinking about how my performance as a believer would be rated by the people around me. Would my marks be high or low when compared to the criteria established in Scripture for being obedient. It’s a somber thought, especially when I read about how the Father has revealed His children are to behave in relationship to one another.

Of course it doesn’t matter ultimately what others think. We will answer to the Father Himself. Hebrews 10:30 tells us, “the Lord will judge His people.”

It is there that we will hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Or not!
