Llove In The Air

I will be attending a wedding today (Saturday, November 7th). I know this couple. I have watched as their lives have grown closer together and will now, with a beautiful ceremony, begin their journey toward oneness.

God’s design for a man and woman to unite their lives together, to share the disciplines of llove, and become “one flesh.” is a beautiful thing. Unfortunately, I am convinced, people miss  incredible aspects of marriage when they choose to marry, but refuse to follow the disciplines, and achieve the magnificent blessing of become one with each other, and with Christ.

When one recognizes that marriage is an Earthly example of the relationship between Christ and His Bride, the Church, it makes marriage the most exciting and dynamic of all adventures a man an woman can experience together.  Of course it is impossible for a marriage to exist with more than two people involved, or people of the same sex, or without the Scriptural discipline of llove, or with any goal short of  “the two becoming one.”

It is clearly evident that marriage is a creation of God, and has strict rules and guidelines for behavior. Nothing is more wonderful than for a couple to realize that a man and a woman can become  one with each other and thereby demonstrate God’s relationship with His Bride.

I expect that realization will begin its infancy again today, and continue till the goal is met.  I know I am excited to see it happen.
