Thought For The Day

Missle In The Air

It’s has been a long time since we have fired missiles to other places, but now that we have, I am hearing people say I’m not sure I trust our current President. I am grateful that I don’t have to trust anyone other than the eternal ,infinite God of Heaven and Earth. Is this a step closer to the end of time as we know it? No one knows. Personally, I kinda like that idea. But I have no reason to hope beyond that which I have every day of my life. The reality is we all need to be ready for whatever comes even if it is simply the chaos of what wars anywhere cause, even the possibilities that we might be involved here in America. We need to find ourselves, being absolutely faithful to that to which God has called us, and designed for us.

I don’t want to be afraid of the future. I want to live with a confidence that whatever occurs will carry out the Word of God for our lives. Perhaps it is time for us to pray harder and longer. Get ourselves right with God. Reach out to everyone we know with the truth of the gospel. That ought to be an every day affair, whether there is a missile in the air, or a breeze through the trees, I would say to you, llove the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, give yourself to ministry. Rest in peace. Our  Father is in control.
