Thought For The Day

Mother’s Day

Sunday is Mother’s day. My mom has long been gone to Heaven where she and others are experiencing the Glory of God.

If your mother is still living, make sure you contact her, send flowers, take her to lunch or dinner, or give her a wonderful gift that fits comfortably in your budget. My mom always said it is the “thought” that counts. . .so think about it and do what you can.

If your mother is no longer with you, choose another mother and do the same for her. It could be your wife, or a friend, a fellow Church member, or someone you hardly know at all. It really doesn’t matter. She may get two dinners, two gifts, or a dozen. That’s OK too.

Mothers are very special people. If your mom is someone you don’t like or get along with, do it anyway. I can assure you the effort will mean something (a little or a lot)  to her.

And for you mothers reading this post. . .HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
