Llove Letters

Two things are going to be evident after you read this post. One, I am pretty sure I don’t know what the “job description” is for a Supreme Court Justice. Two, I don’t know why it should matter who appoints a Justice to the Court. I read an article this morning that leaves me wondering and uncertain about Courts in general. The question I have is this: How does a Judge (or Justice) decide a case? Why would one’s political opinion or prejudice or any other characteristic, positive or negative, be an issue? Please don’t call me “Pollyanna,” but, aren’t all cases decided based on the LAW and the CONSTITUTION?…
