Quality Workmanship

I have been doing some work which I have never done before. Building one’s own place to live when one has never built anything (and I do mean anything) is a real challenge. Suffice it to say I have had to rework, redo, undo, try again, fail again, and start all over.

Now grab your Bible and read a few  passages with me. . .

One of the GREAT things about God is that He provides quality workmanship (Ephesians 2:10). Paul tells us, just prior to that verse, God made us alive (saved us), sealed us with His Spirit, provides exceeding riches in Christ, and supplies limitless grace. (see Ephesians 1:13;2:5-9)

I can’t help but wonder what kind of workmanship we demonstrate in our lives day by day as we walk with Him. I am convinced it should be of excellent quality. Let me give  you three examples:

The power with which we pray. John 14:12-14

The ministry accomplished by our commitment to working, serving, giving. 1 Corinthians 16:15

The llove we share with one another. 1 John 4:7-11

We are demonstrating His excellence. . .or we are not. God has ordained you to walk in His power and work His works. Are you?
