Rain

Have you been praying for rain? I can remember when that was an often heard question. Some folks are beginning to think that an epic flood (think Noah) may be on the way.

Fortunately, for those who know the Word of God, we understand there will never be another flood that will destroy the World. I have to admit that it is a bit wet these days. Down on the farm we have had more rain in the last couple of months than we had all of 2014. The lake is full, the grass green, the flowers blooming, and even the trees are growing like weeds.

I long for those times in the family of God. When the “water of Truth” fills hearts and the design of God for his people to have a clear focus on coming to maturity fills all we do. Learning to llove one another, sharing our faith with those around us, ministering to each other and our communities, proclaiming the Gospel with clarity and authority, resulting in a better outcome for our families and the society at large, is our calling.

For that “rain from Heaven,” pray harder than you have before.
