Spring – More Than Flowers

The daffodils are blooming, and other resting beautiful plants are soon to push through the soil. It seems a little early to me, but I don’t mind, I love to see them.
I know a lot of people who have crossed the path of my life who have found themselves deeply stuck in the darkness of sin in this world. But like the flowers which have died in the coldness of winter, it is possible to be born again to become a beautiful part of the family of God, the Church.
Just as the flowers use their strength to return year after year, so the Spirit of God, within those who are believers works constantly to keep us blooming in the light of the truth.
If you’re one of the people who has spent too much time underground, find a place where you can get all you need to return to the beauty of being one of God’s children sharing a bright life of beauty, peace, joy, hope, and llove. If you don’t have a church, find one. If you don’t know how to find one contact me and I will give you some pointers about where to find one. If you happen to live in North Richland Hills, Texas I can tell you the best place in town is Shady Grove Baptist Church. It is a place where the Truth is spoken clearly, and the family of believers is welcoming, and quickly become friends and fellow worshipers.
I know that there are churches like that all over the state of Texas and all the other places where people live. When you start to look, just ask people if they know where the Bible is proclaimed with clarity, and people are living out the truth of God’s Word in their day-to-day life. That’s what a Church is, and that’s where you belong.
