Thought For The Day

The End

Is the end near? Absolutely! I don’t think we are going to able to fix all of our problems. Not because we don’t have the expertise to do so, we do. Unfortunately altruism is not our strongest attribute.

Social Security is problematic. So is Medicare, Medicaid, health-care in general, and the National Debt  making our continued financial policies and procedures unsustainable. Collective bargaining is a major factor driving  employers, Counties,  and States toward a bankruptcy from which they cannot recover.

While our leaders promote austerity, they are busy with lavish vacations, junkets, studies, and the like, costing the American taxpayer exorbitant amounts. Congress  attempts (and is usually successful) to spend money today that they will need to collect from your great, great, great grandchildren. Education in the United States of America is failing – at all levels.

Mexico is on fire. . .and moving toward us. Americans are killed by pirates on the high seas. War rages on in Iraq, Afghanistan, and to a lesser degree in Bahrain, Egypt, Libya, and on, and on.

Inflation is coming. Very expensive food items are going to be the norm. Gasoline and fuel oil are going to be prohibitively expensive. Unrest and anger are seething under a surface of pseudo calm. Americans are armed, and growing more dangerous as their way of life is systematically broken down. The uniformity of Americanism which built this once great Nation is being divided and destroyed by “multi-culturalism.”

Evil is ever-present. Public licentiousness is growing. Churches are less and less bastions of Truth and instead are becoming “life-coaching” stations utilizing suggestions from God’s Holy Word.

The End is near!
