The Politically Incorrect Truth (rated – “R”)

I asked my Pastor if I could share the following commentary with you, and, while reluctant, he said yes.

Quickly and early the Church (and spokespersons within the Southern Baptist Convention have done so) must speak to the issue of condoning homosexuality in the Boy Scouts of America.

The Boy Scouts of America might soon give troop sponsors the authority to decide whether to accept gays as scouts and leaders. This is a potentially dramatic turnaround which could be announced as early as next week. (Good Morning America – online)

I met my first homosexual Public School teacher when I was in 10th grade. It was a frightening experience. I met several other practicing homosexual men while I was in College. I have known several homosexual men who are/were employed in ministry jobs in Churches, and men who were employed in other professions as well. I have counseled a few, and prayed for most.

I can say, without question in my mind, that I have never met a practicing homosexual male who was not predatory toward boys and young men. I don’t know if all homosexual males are practicing pedophiles, only that my experience informs me to the degree that I would never allow my sons (I have four – all grown men now), or my grandsons (I have five) to be in any environment (about which I have knowledge and/or control of their participation) where homosexuality was condoned and/or considered acceptable or “an alternative lifestyle.”

Every effort possible is being exhausted in our society to “mainstream” this aberrant sexual behavior. God’s Word is crystal clear – and without need of clarification; homosexuality is an “abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:18ff)

Do not be confused or mislead by the purveyors of immorality!
