Thought For The Day

Vote!

I will assume you are reading this on Tuesday, November 2. If it’s the first – well, good. If it’s the third, well. . .

WASHINGTON – Democratic and Republican party leaders put on their best game faces Monday, making 11th hour arguments on the eve of midterm elections that seem certain to curb if not end Democratic control of Congress. (Charles Babington, Associated Press)

Whatever your political persuasion, you need to realize that this is a pivotal election. We will continue the path we are on – or we will make a course correction and move, to whatever degree, toward a different direction. It is a time unlike any other in history. What is decided here, now, will most likely affect the future of America forever.

If you would like my suggestion – read on. Otherwise – GO VOTE.

I suggest you pray. Ask your Father to give you direction as you enter the voting booth. Remember your history, your Civics lessons when you were in school, look at the state of our Nation, and pray some more. Then – GO VOTE.

Christians are good citizens – or they ought to be. Good citizens evaluate the choices and vote for what is in keeping with our history, our Constitution, and our best interest as a Representative Republic. I urge you to do so!
