What A Mess!

Bananas! No, bananas are not a mess. The whole World is going bananas. Or it least it seems that way. Of course the Scriptures tells us that is the direction this World is headed, and though that is not the Biblical word of choice, it is clear that things are going to get worse and worse until the only solution is the return of our Savior and a final implementation of His (God) clearly planned and executed eternal llove.

I can’t help but wonder what our World would be like if sin had not invaded, debilitated, and destroyed life as it was designed for the original pair of people. I am confident that I will know that one day. God is going to create a new Earth (along with a new Heaven) (Revelation 21:1ff) and I expect to spend eternity there. . .hopefully along with you.

One Truth is for sure. A lot of what we know now as the trappings of life will be gone. Death will no longer exist. There will be no more grief, crying, or pain. Along with the end of those things there will also be no politicians, no immorality, no liars, or cheats, no murderers, no hatred or bitterness. There will be no discontented grumblers, no arrogant words, no scoffers, no divisive people, and no unGodly deeds. (read: Jude)

Sometimes folk tell me I am missing something — living without what so many people believe life is all about. But I think not. The Scripture calls these people “dreamers.” Sometimes I hear people say they are “living the dream” but in actuality they are destroying themselves. They nurture only themselves and moving toward “the blackness of darkness forever.” (Jude)

Maybe the term “bananas” is not a good choice.
