Who’s Who, Who’s What

“Dread” is the term that fills the mind (and heart) of many people as the race for the White House begins earlier and earlier.

Almost a year before the first votes of the 2020 -presidential contest, Democratic candidates are all over the map. (TIME)

We have yet to see where the Republicans will go. The President is extremely vulnerable in regaining the White House in the opinion of this writer. But one never knows what will occur. It is early and we have yet to see the presence of others who will, without a doubt, decide that they can win the race for power.

Make no mistake about it, POWER is the prize. From the lowest position in politics, clear through to the White House, power is the gold ring – not “Government of the people, by the people, and for the people.”

All that said, the staff and writers at Lloveletters embraces the TRUTH as follows:

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.  (Romans 13:1)

It is vital that those who are members of the Family of God be wise and discerning regarding those who seek public office. There is much insight in Scripture regarding the traits and characteristics required of those who lead. It is safe to say (in my opinion) that those who founded this Country, by-in-large, would not have, indeed, could not have, envisioned the Godlessness that has enveloped our society. They understood that leadership, be it political or in any other endeavor, should be, must be, established in principles and purposes mined from Scripture.

As much as it may “drive us crazy” we must listen to the rhetoric, examine histories, make clear discernments, and ultimately vote for someone to lead our failing (genuinely sorry if that offends you) Country. Doing that without much prayer is extremely dangerous.

Start now. . .praying fervently, that those who come to the forefront are men and women of God. REAL men and women of God. The outcome will change America one way or another.
