My grand kids (and my kids) buy fireworks and shoot them off down on the farm (when we have a opportunity to be there on New Year’s Eve). I don’t mind, if they are careful. I don’t want them hurt, or the surrounding countryside set on fire. I read with interest an article by Terry Evans, Star-Telegram.com: “. . .dads should shoot fireworks with their kids. The owner of Nelson’s Fireworks Outlet Inc. explained that shooting fireworks is a rite of passage, like a first hunting trip. ‘Teach a kid to do it correctly, and it works,’ he said. ‘If you don’t, you’re going to have all kinds of trouble.’…
