Choosing
Every day we make choices. The first one might be to get out of bed “early.” (Sometimes that is 4:30am for me). They are not always easy, and even though we try, sometimes we do foolish things we will later regret.
There are many choices that are critical in pleasing our Heavenly Father. Here are three you might want to consider:
1. Brokenness: Psalm 34:18 – The Lord is near the brokenhearted; He saves those crushed in spirit.
2. Humility: 1 Peter 5:5 – In the same way, you y0unger men, be subject to the elders. And all of you clothe yourself with humility toward one another, because God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
3. Obedience: Romans 6:16 – Don’t you know that if you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey – either of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness.
Choosing makes the difference!
