The lake is full. We seem to be getting a lot of rain, and I for one,  am very grateful. The spillway is running over, and filling the creek it runs into with an abundance of water. Walking along that pathway is to enjoy another reason for living in the “woods.”

Sometimes  we forget that the Scriptures speak clearly to our being “filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and knowledge of understanding” (see Colossians 1:9-10), which is, of course, so that we can “walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in he knowledge of God.”

So many  people in our society seem to be filled with something that is not what God designed. Some are filled with being lazy regarding the apprehension of Truth. Some are filled with sorrow and pain, and live every day with that debilitating struggle. Others, and the number seems to be skyrocketing, are filled with rage and hatred. Family destruction, road rage, mass shootings, looting, stealing, and destroying, with seemingly a careless lack of concern for themselves or others, even wars between various factions, including Nations of this World, are rampant not only here, but around the globe.

Society is screaming for answers – but looking in the wrong place. God’s solution, since His Truth has been, and is being, ignored, may bring the end of all things here on Earth, for a place far, far better. . .or far, far worse.
