Ice Activities

Most of the trees here on the farm are pine trees. They are tall and straight, and while the needles keep the ground covered, they tend to be very beautiful from my perspective. They are not so good with freezing rain, especially when the rain tends to be on- going for a few days in a row. The limbs are just not strong enough to hold up to a lot of ice freezing up the needles. So, down they come, some small, some amazingly huge, and they wreak havoc on the smaller trees below them, and the largest of them can dent your car or poke a hole in your roof. The debris is legion. It will take a few weeks to gather and burn all that is surrounding the area where we like to have the grounds looking pristine.

I meet a lot of people who have some sort of debris in their life, and often they don’t know how to rid themselves of it, or they are unwilling to take the action needed to resolve the issues. Believers life are not designed for the debris of this World, and the coming and going of it, or the letting of it pile up over time, is damaging to one’s life, and a failure to live the pure and holy life demanded by the Truth of God’s Word.

In the coming days I will be building several fires that will take care of my ice/pine tree debris issues. Maybe it is time for you to allow the cleansing fire of Truth to lead  you back to an obedient life of llove and peace via God’s grace.   He is in the forgiveness business, and His llove abounds for His children. Get that debris handled.
