In The Dark

This morning I went outside to finish mowing a part of my yard. It was about 9am and it was as dark as 9pm, There was no rain, but I was soaked within about thirty minutes. It was hard to tell if I was mowing straight or wandering a little. The temperature was not nearly as high as it normally is by that time. I mowed for about  45 minutes, and went back inside. It’s now 10:30am and I know I have to go out again, but it still looks like the late evening. . .8:30ish,

The thought came to me that perhaps it is much like our Spiritual World these days. There is a lot of darkness in trying to navigate the necessities of Truth. While the genuine Body of Christ is working hard to help people understand the Scriptures, the darkness continues to grows in the heavy clouds with which the Enemy so often surround us.

“Easy Believeism” is so common it often appears to be acceptable to God. I want to assure you it is not. One critical Scripture is so often “softened,” it would appear God has changed His Truth. 2 Corinthians 5:17 is abundantly clear – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.

Do not be lost in the darkness of this World’s foolishness. God does not change. His TRUTH is sure and reliable. Find it! Know it! Live it!!
