Forsaking

I continue to wonder if we will, as the family of God, ever carry out His Word in Hebrews 10:25. The Preacher often thinks that is the most forsaken action in Scripture for a vast percentage of genuine Believers. Sure, there are multitudes of  “Churches” that draw thousands of people (often for “the show”), but there is little of the activity in relationship to this verse in Hebrews. Thousands of Churches see little or no commitment of the “members” toward its command. Maturing, sharing, growing wise in Truth, and, most of all, lloving one another, is left to the few consistent Believers who are committed to obedience. How many Churches have given up on even trying to gather folks in a regular, active body carrying out God’s command? Has yours?
