God and Sin Never Change

Sin (falling short of God’s standard and/or violating God’s law) never changes. It can be forgiven, but it cannot be made holy. There are several sins segments of our society wish to make acceptable, normal, even holy. 

To make that happen God would have to change. God would be required to lower His standard, eliminate or re-create His law, or violate His character.

I am sure I have no interest in a god who says one thing and does another, or chooses to embrace today what he condemned yesterday. While men are quiet competent in that action it remains foreign to the nature of God.

There is great safety in embracing the TRUTH. It will never be different. It will not shift with the passage of time, or buckle under the weight of human condemnation. No societal “progress” or intellectual enlightenment will change what God has established. He is the same – yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
