Tragedy
For a long time some have used the term “slippery slope” to indicated the worsening of an issue most often regarding morality. A few days ago I used a different terminology which I think will become more standard for me.
Our Nation in hovering above an abyss. It’s not the infrequent madman who shoots up a gathering of citizens, or even a terrorist who fashions a homemade pipe or car bomb that ought to be our greatest concern. It is much more serious than that.

87,273 pre-meditated murders in one American City – and the news of it is hard to find.
This is not a “slippery slope.” This is a precipice, and we are over the edge!
