Getting Out of Debt
Ok. I found it easy to get credit cards – so I got several, ten actually. Now, some time later, they are all maxed out and I am trying to pay them off. I owe about $10,000 on each one – making a total of about $100, 000. I am struggling with even the minimum payment so I actually pay less than that each month – so naturally the whole balance keeps getting larger every time I get the statements.
I have finally figured out how to solve the problem. I am getting another credit card (in my son’s name, since no one wants to give me another one in my name until I pay off the balance on at least one of them) and I am going to use the “cash withdrawal” option to make the minimum payments on the other ten cards. Of course I know I have got to make the minimum payment on the 11th card, but if I get in trouble on that – no problem – I have more sons.
I knew when I started charging this would all work out. I just follow the pattern of my Government. Look how successful they have been.
Aren’t you glad God always gives more in return than we give in faith? Luke says it well in Chapter 6, verse 38, “Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure–pressed down, shaken together, and running over–will be poured into your lap.”
