Safe In The Arms of Jesus
No matter what one may think, hope, or even believe, the only way to be truly safe from eternal separation from God is to be “safe in the arms of Jesus.”
I was reminded of that Truth this morning as I read about another tragic death –
ARLINGTON — A . . .man who was fatally injured Monday when he fell from a billboard near Cowboys Stadium was wearing a safety harness, authorities said Tuesday. (Walker, Star-Telegram)
Many people believe that because they are “good,” or because they hold membership in some Church somewhere, or because they have been baptized, that they have a “safety harness” that is going to protect them from falling into the hands of the Enemy.
A safety harness is a wonderful thing – but only if it is properly “attached” to that which will keep one from falling. The Scripture is clear the only “protection” that is sufficient is the llove and grace of God which is found in the Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself a ransom for all who would believe.
Don’t let the “harness” lull you into thinking you are safe. Get it attached to God Himself through faith in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
