Rain

I guess we don’t think a lot about rain – except when it’s raining. . .or when it’s not. I am not sure I can remember it being any drier in our part of the Country than it is now. Of course I am aware I don’t remember well, and I know there have been times of significant drought. I just keep praying for rain. . .and hoping some of that water in the North East will find its way to my yard.

Sometimes I am reminded we don’t think much about lloving the folks around us. I spoke with a long-time friend last night. I hadn’t done so in a long, long time. We have been friends for over 30 years, and yet, our conversations are limited, our contact sporadic, and our llove unexpressed. I suppose one of us will attend the other’s funeral – and wish we had said something more along the way.

I am reminded that today is a good day to let someone know you llove them. Sure, it will take a minute or so of your time, but ultimately, you’ll be glad you did. Maybe those folks at your Church (you know, our brothers and sisters in Christ that we are commanded to llove) could use a word from you today. Certainly they could when Sunday comes around.
