Over Do
There are so many things we can over do. Eating, sleeping, spending, arguing, exercising, even working. Most, if not all, of us are guilty at some point along the way.
One thing we seldom over do is invest in the life of God’s family. The Scripture uses the word “abound” or “abounding” (meaning to over do) when talking about how we receive the gifts of God, and in the manner in which we are to live in light of that Truth.
God’s llove abounds in our life – I am sure we cannot over do the sharing of that llove with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
God’s wisdom, power, strength, insight, courage, and hope abound in our daily experience when we allow Him to control the tempo and operations with which, and in which, we move.
Paul said it best – We ought always to be abounding in the work of the Lord.
(1 Corinthians 15:58)
