Thought For The Day

Life is Tenuous

Michael Clark Duncan was one of those guys other guys envy. Six foot 5 inches, 300 pounds of rippling muscle, a great voice, ruggedly handsome, more than competent in his craft, and successful. No doubt a bully would never kick sand in his face (sorry, younger guys, I know you don’t know Charles Atlas). Now dead at 54 – life can be brief.

I was surprised to learn the Nation’s most dangerous job – shrimp fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Fishing for Gulf of Mexico shrimp is the nation’s most dangerous job, with dozens of fatalities over the last decade. . . . (Yahoo News)

Life can be brief.

Jesus Christ came to give life to all who would believe the call of grace. When Christ becomes Lord of All, life begins – and never, never ends. Hear the True story at a Church near you.
