Consequences

Failure to understand, failure to be wise, failure to be involved, or simply making the wrong decision, has far-reaching consequences. Every day, as our society declines from what the United States of America used to be, we are seeing the consequences of ignorance, apathy, and foolish choices.

Many jeered when statements were made that we, as a great Nation, would come to this. But we have, and every day, in every way, it gets worse. Here is just one example:

Regarding the refusal of Medicare to pay for some cancer drugs –

Dr. Jeffery Ward, a community oncologist at Swedish Cancer Institute in Edmonds, Wash., told Yahoo News of the cut. “I’m just saddened that our government system is so completely inept that they will take the most fragile and vulnerable people in our society and hang them out to dry—and that’s what Congress and our government has done.” (Yahoo News)

Meanwhile, Washington, D. C. continues unabated in spending money like it was nothing for multitudes of nothing worth while.

Failure to understand, failure to be wise, failure to be involved, or simply making the wrong decision, has far-reaching consequences from a spiritual perspective too. Someday this fragile life we possess here on Earth will end, and we will begin another endless journey in a far different dimension.
