Where’s The News

One cannot listen to the National news programs on television or radio these days without an almost “word for word” repeat of a 2nd degree murder trial in Florida. It’s almost as if the future of our society hangs in the balance depending on the outcome of that trial.

Meanwhile –

There were 67 people shot and 11 killed over the long Independence Day weekend in Chicago. Of the 67, eight were shot, with one killed, in a single Saturday evening attack in the West Side neighborhood of Lawndale. (Breitbart)

I have yet to hear a single word from the major news networks regarding this senseless slaughter in one of our Nation’s largest cities. I suppose the people killed there, or nearly so, are not quite as important as the one killed in Florida.

I am not surprised, however. I often wonder why there is so little agonizing outcry from every Christian community, daily, vociferous, continually, regarding the ever increasing annihilation of the unborn, and partially born.

How long do Believers think we can “weary God” with our seeming indifference regarding the destruction of Biblical morality before judgment begins at the “house of the Lord?”
