New Idea

I have always thought that people who know what they are doing generally do the thing they are doing better than those who have no idea what they are doing.

If I am going mountain climbing, deep sea diving, parachuting, sailing, shark hunting, or spelunking, I want to go with a “professional.”

Maybe that is just me. In my business I prefer to listen to someone who knows the Truth, rather than someone who is “guessing.”

Here’s a good example:

(WASHINGTON) — The latest GOP effort to repeal and replace “Obamacare” was fatally wounded in the Senate Monday night when two more Republican senators announced their opposition to the legislation strongly backed by President Donald Trump. (TIME)

Here’s a new idea! Let the people who understand health insurance (the health insurance companies) handle the whole ball of wax. In the open market (under our capitalistic processes) it seems to me that we will get what people are willing to buy, find competition reduces prices (seems to everywhere else), and no one is left out who has the good sense to make competent decisions. I will admit I don’t know what to do with those who can’t, or won’t, make competent decisions and need the rest of us to supply everything for them, but I am certainly not alone in that ignorance. A bonus is that the Washington guys and gals will have more time to continue incompetently running our Government.

Now you can give me all the reasons that won’t work. But it seemed to be to be working pretty well prior to the Washington boys and girls getting way to involved.

I know, it’s a rant. But I am hot and tired and got a million (give or take) more acres to mow and I am tired of listening to those guys foolishness.
