Appearance counts. Sometimes we forget that wherever we go, whatever we do, there are people who are watching. If we are not careful, the appearance we provide may be one that creates disgust rather than joy. We almost always make decisions related to the outward appearance of individuals around  us. It would be best to spend time determining what a person looks like on the inside.
