I’ve been watching the building of additional space at the place where I worship. This morning I was observing one of the brick laying guys who was working on a corner where the bricks are turned in a different way to form a ledge below the windows. The corner called for some intricate work – cutting two brick quarters to 45 degree angles and matching them together with another regular quarter on the back side to make the ledge right.
