Some people, perhaps most people, struggle with embracing the idea that children of God are holy. It is a “positional” truth to which we must bring our obedience, wisdom, commitment, and dedication before it become “experiential.” We don’t see our self as holy because we choose to live unholy lifestyles, or refuse to allow holiness to capture our thoughts and actions. The Scripture teaches us that to be holy is to be like Christ. To be like Christ we must think as He thought and act as He acted.
