There are old men out there. Unless they have become “famous” over the years, usually for silly things, like making movies or playing football, they are pretty much ignored. That is our loss. I met an old man recently, and stopped by to visit with him a few days ago. On the wall of his home there was a display case full of medals won in war. There was a conversation about his long career; fascinating, dangerous, vital, mandatory, yet unknown to almost everyone except his employers and partners in the work.
