The freeze is in. The rain is falling. It’s cold out there. About this time each year we expect and get the cold weather of winter. Personally I like the seasonal changes, but my favorites are Spring and Fall. Living in the woods, those two seasons remind me of “new birth,” and the incredible beauty that our Father has prepared for us in the transition from Summer to Winter. Unfortunately for some Winter brings concerns about getting out and about. Church attendance tends to trend downward, especially if it rains when it is cold and a little ice develops.
