Correct Thinking
I read a most interesting article today in American Thinker.
http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/04/christianity_or_thoughtcrime.html
The article centers on whether we are moving toward a society that believes Biblical thinking ultimately transforms into hate speech when voiced, and that voicing could conceivably incite one to a type of overt action against another individual. (Those are my words indicating what I perceived the article is purporting.)
Here is my favorite quote from the article:
Apparently, the politically correct view (for the time being) is that it is fine, commendable even, to be a Christian and attend church on Sundays — but during the rest of the week and outside the church, Christian doctrine is tolerable only when it advances the progressive definition of correctness. Even symbols hanging on the outside of the church’s walls have been deemed “too offensive” — at a worship tent in a U.S. military base in Afghanistan, the cross was banned from display. . . . (American Thinker)
Read here my comment that could possibly be considered “politically incorrect.” Any supposedly Biblical “doctrine” espoused by the Church on Sunday, that is not practically applicable in the marketplace on Monday, is worthless on Sunday as well as Monday.
If that’s not clear, if you don’t understand that, you’re probably in the wrong “church” to begin with.
