Dead in Chicago

Chicago is a big city. There are some marvelous things to see there. The coast line of Lake Michigan is just beautiful, and it is a place everyone should get to visit.

You can also get dead there.

Chicago (Illinois) has some heavy duty prohibitions regarding guns. The Legislature is trying to get CHL (Concealed Hand Gun) legislation passed, but the Governor keeps gumming up the works. Maybe if they “armed the citizens,” the murderers would be a little more prone to keep it down somewhat – in the fear that someone might shoot back.

I think we need to “arm” the Church. Oh, I don’t mean with guns. I mean – with TRUTH. If we could get God’s people to know the TRUTH, live the TRUTH, and proclaim the TRUTH, perhaps more people could be saved from the rampant immorality that is destroying our Nation.

I am asking our Preacher to “arm” us. I hope that’s OK with you.
