Thought For The Day

First Tolerance, then Celebration

Our World is filled with rebellion, anger, and disobedience that surfaces in an attempt to dislodge the light of Truth that remains clear and plain. However small the contingent (and this one seems to grow larger and louder every day) we have clear teaching as Believers regarding sexual sins. As we move closer to judgment by Jehovah God, who will judge the quick and the dead, many seem intent on finding ways to incur a “greater wrath.”

The Broward school district in Florida has endorsed what is being called a “groundbreaking” resolution encouraging K-12 students to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender History Month this October, the Sun Sentinel reports. (The Blaze)

Moving in on the most vulnerable among us (read: society) the purveyors of rebellion to God’s commands seek to enlarge their numbers and degrade (Therefore God delivered them over in the cravings of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves. Romans 1:24 HCS)  the minds and bodies of our most precious human gift – our children.

Gay-rights advocates say LGBT History Month showcases civil-rights pioneers who are an important part of American history, and it can also boost the self-esteem of adolescents who may be struggling with their own emerging sexual identity, and who are often the targets of bullying. (Ibid. emphasis theirs)

Lest we think otherwise, these promoters of un-Godliness know full well the results of their tactics. Once again, the Truth is clear – clear – clear: Although they know full well God’s just sentence–that those who practice such things deserve to die–they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them. (Romans 1:32 HCS)

God, save the evil ones – and protect our little ones from the enemy!
