God Provides

One need only find an adventure planned by the Lord God of Heaven, in which you are invited to participate, to discover His constant, absolute provision.

Such was the case this past week when a Mission Team from the Church I attend assisted another Church (Montesano, Washington’s First Baptist) in Vacation Bible School.

Back in January we were made aware that the Church in Washington had three (3) kids who attend. Two are the Pastor’s children, one, a child in another family. Strangely, the Mission Team from our Church kept growing – growing until it was our largest team ever at twenty-four (24). We kept thinking the Team was too large.

Before we arrived in Washington, the little Church had managed to enroll around forty (40) kids. We were thrilled, but still. . .

When the week was over, and a magnificent week it was, seventy-eight (78) children had attended. Every member of our team was vital and needed.

Here’s the point. When God plans the task, He provides the resources. When we learn to be obedient to His call, all things come together so that the outcome is victoriously successful. If we could learn that lesson well, think of all the success we could discover.
