GR8 NUS

From today’s Star-Telegram – Great news — make that GR8 NUS — for Texans who want a better variety of customized license plates. A new line of colorful plates will be offered beginning today. For $55 to $195 a year — on top of car owners’ usual state registration fees — residents can pick from several designs.

This is just exactly what I have been waiting for! I have so many GR8 ideas about the plate on my car, my truck, my motorcycle. I think for my work truck – GOD IS. What do you think? On my motorcycle I am thinking about HD B-LVE. I know, pretty incredible. Maybe on my wife’s car we could put ANTIQUE – no, no, no, I mean that she likes antiques, not that she is an antique.

Then I got all messed up when I started thinking about how an extra hundred and a half for a license plate could instead be used to feed a starving child for a month in some third world country.

Do what you like. My plate will be the standard issue. I’ve got “other fish to fry.”
