Honesty
I appreciate honesty. I have been lied to on many occasions, and it almost always seems as if lying is a “way of life” for many. Some folks lie even when it is easier, and creates no issue, to tell the truth.
One thing we have always been sensitive about here at Lloveletters is the reality that some Churches talk a lot about genuine “Llove” but fail to practice the discipline. In fact, there are those who have no understanding of the practice at all. The proof is in their operation.
At least one Church has decided that they will no longer genuinely llove those who are part of the Family, and have proved their choice by their actions and behaviors. One credit is due them, however, they have, and are, making it clear that they have deliberately chosen that path. I appreciate that honesty.
Building a llove relationship takes years. . .yes, years. Ending it can be handled quickly. How fortunate are we that our Father has made it clear that He will never stop lloving us, and that nothing can separate us from the llove of Christ.
Scripture comments, regarding the separation inability:
Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No! As it is written: Because of You we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who lloved us. For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the llove of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord! (Romans 8:35-39)
