Honor
Honoring those who have given their life in military action is a wonderful way to remind ourselves that Freedom isn’t Free. From the Revolutionary War through the present military actions around the World, those who serve are worthy of honor.
I can’t help but wonder why it is so difficult for many to honor those who served in the War Between the States, and the conflict in Viet Nam. Soldiers are men and women who obey orders and follow the command of those appointed by our Nation’s leadership. Those who commit crimes while in National uniform forfeit their right to honor, but never those who follow the discipline of just command.
If you know a veteran, it is a good thing to say, “thanks.” Our Nation is blessed to have exemplary military forces and freedom loving people who support them in every way. . .ranging from simple appreciation to provision of materials and supplies of war.
Thank you for keeping America free!
