How Much Is It Worth?

Finding treasure, regardless of the value, is a wonderful activity. Of course finding amazing, infinite treasure is best of all. Being a treasure hunter is not difficult or expensive, unless you are planning to search for sunken ships loaded with gold at the bottom of the Oceans. Treasure can be found almost anywhere you see a “sale” of merchandise that has been gathered from the strange variety of people that inhabit the World around you.’Finding something in a box of “stuff” that is being auctioned at an Estate Sale is a good place to start.

Sometimes one can buy a box of “stuff” for a few ($2-4) dollars, and find there in something(s) that are worth a lot more than the original cost of the box. Please understand, this is not a great way to get rich (although many have), but an interesting hobby and a source for building your stash of treasures that will one day be sold for less than they are worth to another treasure hunter.

Recently I found a small glass mug, like new, in a box of other glassware, that had the A&W Root Beer label etched on the side. The price was “your choice – 50 cents.” I took the mug and checked it out on the internet (great place for amateurs to find what things sell for) and there were a few for sale for $15. Ahhhh, treasure!

What concerns me is that a lot of Believers (born-again, redeemed, saved, etc.) have not discovered the Treasures, sometimes called Mysteries, of the Kingdom of God. Matthew 13:11 tells us that they have been revealed to Believers, but not to the World. That they are revealed does not mean that we have discovered the treasure they are in our life.
