Ice and Snow
It’s Tuesday, February1, and the ground is covered with ice which is covered with snow. As I look out the window of my office toward the park, I am reminded of how beautiful snow can be when it covers the ground and trees.
We are not overly familiar with snow in Texas, especially the Metroplex. I sometimes wish we could get snow like they do in Colorado or Utah, and we could ski to work. We’d all be a bit healthier, I’d wager.
Naturally it reminds me of the words of the Prophet Isaiah – “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)
Absolutely nothing is more beautiful than that!
