Thought For The Day

Impossible

“Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee jumped into the 2020 Democratic presidential primary Friday with a promise to put climate change front and center in both his campaign and his potential presidency.” (TIME)

Perhaps we could use a “Committee of Presidents.” Then each one could work specifically on the particular “promise” he/she is using to “stand out from all the rest.” Seems as if just one President can’t get all the promises accomplished, and in some cases (like the “Wall”) not even the main goal that got President Trump elected.

In his announcement speech, Governor Inslee said he (if elected) was going to make “climate change” the main focus of his administration. I am guessing that little things like massive invasions of illegal aliens, the crisis of literally tons of illegal drugs entering the Country, rampant proliferation of mass shootings, a rising tide of people elected  to National office who are ignorant regarding Government’s operational design, the concept of representative government, American history (which many wish to change [impossible] or destroy), Capitalism vs. Socialism, the Constitution of the United States, et al., and lacking any semblance of common sense.

“Our environmental laws have been extremely successful when we’ve applied them. We just haven’t applied them to the most dangerous pollutant (sic) at the moment, which is (sic) carbon dioxide and methane,” says the Governor (IBID.)

In reality however, we have no laws that are capable of controlling any part of our environment on a global scale. Neither can we control the climate and its variables seen in our weather. Our World is controlled by forces set in place at its inception, and those can only be managed by the sovereignty of God.

He (God), of course, has no concern regarding “climate change.” If He did He would have given us (mankind) mastery over the winds and seas, the air and the water, the inner core of the Earth, and the disasters that have wreaked havoc all across this Planet from within and without from its creation.

Your plan, Governor, won’t earn my vote. What you embrace is impossible! And, that is, in part, because it is simply not needed in the first place.
